How do you get people to understand a complicated legislative issue like hospital bed occupancy restrictions in Georgia? Use a metaphor that points out how crazy restricting care for cancer patients really is. When the governor of Georgia finally did sign the bill changing the law, many of the state's legislators attributed the momentum shifting because of the public outcry stirred up by this tv spot in their districts. We inspired people to speak out.
